Near Seddulbahir and close to V-beach, a shallow valley was the home of the English 3rd Field Ambulance. Far left on the horizon, one shoulder of Achi Baba is just visible in the picture. Although the hospital must have been in plain sight of Turkish artillery, the latter as a rule never fired at ambulance or hospital units.
